In the joyful atmosphere of early Spring 2026, the Executive Board of the University Union at Nam Dinh University of Technology Education has organized a series of meaningful activities to honor and improve the spiritual life of female officials, civil servants, and workers on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8th).
Responding to the "Ao Dai Week" 2026 launched by the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation, female union members at the University actively participated to celebrate International Women's Day. This activity not only honors the graceful beauty of Vietnamese women but also spreads the cultural value of the Ao Dai—a proud traditional costume of the nation.
In particular, on March 6, 2026, female staff and laborers across the entire university simultaneously wore the Ao Dai, creating a professional, elegant, and beautiful image within the pedagogical environment. These colorful dresses brightened the campus, reflecting the cultural beauty and solidarity of the female union members.
Following the celebratory spirit, based on the proposal of the Female Affairs Committee, the Executive Board of the University Union developed a plan for a sightseeing trip.
These practical activities highlight the pivotal role of the University Union Executive Board and the Female Affairs Committee in caring for the lives of employees. The Female Affairs Committee took the lead in developing the plan, estimating the budget, and coordinating with travel agencies to ensure a trip that is "safe, practical, meaningful, and joyful".
To support the staff, the University Union is subsidizing the remaining costs beyond a personal contribution of 1,000,000 VND per person. Furthermore, departments like the Training Department have been requested to arrange teaching schedules flexibly to allow all female members to participate fully.
The 2026 International Women's Day celebration is not only a spiritual gift but also a testament to the Union's commitment to protecting the rights and fostering a supportive environment for female staff, empowering them to continue contributing to the university's development.
