Foundation and Development

The predecessor of the Namdinh University of Technology Education (NUTE) was the Namha Industrial School, first founded on December 21^st, 1966 under the Decision N^o 1263 BCNN/KB-1 issued by the Ministry of Heavy Industry. His function was to train the industrial technicians.

   In 1971, the School was belonged to the General Department of Technical Worker Training under the Decision N^o 171/TTg dated on June 16^th, 1971 and issued by the Prime Minister. His function was to train the vocational school teachers.
In 1978, It was renamed Namdinh Technical Teacher's Training School N^o2 and belonged to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) with previously his function.
From 1992 to 1999, under the Decision N^o 1395/TH-DN dated on July 13^th, 1992 and issued by the MOET, the School was entrusted with new model of training technical teachers.
   On July 1^st, 1998, the School belong to General Department of Vocational Training (a department of The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs - MOLISA) to continue his function of training technical teachers.
   On May 28^th 1999, under the Decision N^o 130/1999/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister, the School was upgraded to Namdinh College of Technical Eduction with full function of training technical teachers.
   On January 5^th 2006, under the Decision N^o 05/2006/QD-TTg isssued by the Prime Minicter, the Namdinh University of Technology Education was founded by upgrading from the Namdinh College of Technical Education. NUTE belong to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA).
